Overwatch 2: Blizzard is investigating bug that causes PCs to shut down or restart

Another bug in Overwatch 2 causes trouble for players on the PC.

Said bug causes a computer to shut down or restart when playing Overwatch 2.

Blizzard is looking into this

“We are currently investigating an issue with computers restarting or shutting down while playing Overwatch 2,” Blizzard said.

Problematic launch

At launch, Overwatch 2 was struggling with various issues. Among other things, there were long queues while DDoS attacks put additional strain on the servers.

However, a chat bug caused unintentional purchases in the in-game shop, which were not refunded.
