Destiny 2 is getting a visit from Xur again today. He is the secret trader of the nine who sells you cheap exotics and legendary items. MeinMMO says where you can find him, what he has to offer and why this weekend’s trials are particularly worthwhile for PvE players.

What happened in Destiny 2 this week? On Tuesday, the community discussed a video from streamer Aztecross. He addressed many of Bungie’s issues. There was talk of obfuscation and a lack of transparency.

A joke meant by Bungie with the patch notes sent many players on a pointless search. But that’s exactly what drew attention to a major problem in Destiny 2, where players want to play very specific content more often.

In addition, Bungie is preparing the way to a more player-friendly universe by taking the current material management and simplifying it greatly. It is another step on the way to continuously rebuild Bungie’s loot shooter into a more understandable version, which should probably transition into a large Destiny universe in 2025.

When is Xur coming? The Exotic Vendor visits Destiny 2 every Friday at 7 p.m. Anyone who still has gaps in their Exo collection then expects it, as it is the easiest way to get Exos. It only costs you a one-way flight and some material as a means of payment.

Where is Xur located? This is his camp for the weekend

The position of Xur: Xur can be found in a different location each week. So you never know exactly where you’ll find him.

Where you can find Xur, we will add it at this point punctually from 7 p.m.

Xur’s inventory from 14.10. – 18.10. – All exotics at a glance

What does Xur offer? As the chosen Exotic vendor of the “Nine,” an ominous group in Destiny 2, Xur ships new weapons and armor to players on their behalf on a weekly basis. Xur also sells Legendary items and each week offers unique rolls for exotics from past DLC exotic missions that are no longer available. Note, however: You can only buy the weapons if you also have the appropriate extension.

You can only shop the DLC Exos if you also own the expansion.

He currently has these two weapons on offer:

  • The Falcon Moon Exotic Hand Cannon (Beyond Light)
  • The Exotic Scout Rifle Beyond Light

The weapons cost: These two Exotics cost 1 Ascendant Fragment, 1 Exotic Code, 125,000 Glimmer, and 200 Legendary Fragments respectively.

Xur always has this with him: You can always get an Exotic Engram for 97 Legendary Shards from Xur, as well as the weekly quest to get an Exotic Code.

If you are interested in playing the trials in a permanent team, MeinMMO recommends them Callout maps via Warmind. This gives your fireteam a good description of where the opponents are on the map, which is useful information for the whole team.

How to get your loot: The Trials of Osiris feature a reputation ranking system. Your top loot reward from PvP matches is currently for:

  • Seven wins
  • 50 rounds
  • as well as the infamous flawless run that takes you to the lighthouse

This is the reward for a flawless run: Every week, a very special weapon awaits you on the lighthouse, which you get as a master version for your flawless run, i.e. 7 victories. You can earn the weapon until next Tuesday, October 18th at 7:00 p.m.

All Trials weapons have a Trials origin perk: Haste – Improves reload, stability, aim assist, and range when you’re the last member of your fireteam alive or fighting alone.

You can focus your testing engrams on the 14th saint specifically on your desired weapon. On top there are Enhancement Prisms and Ascendant Fragments. Keep in mind that once you have a complete pass, your reward increases even more – even if you lose a game or two.
