Uncharted 4 with RTX 4090: Showcase with camera mod and “ReShade Raytracing” convinces in 8K

AMD Ryzen: Uncharted PC Collection as a free game - but not for Ryzen 7000

from Benjamin Grundken
Since the release of the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection for PC, the adventure game, which was originally only accessible to Playstation players, can finally be played on the technically superior platform. Digital Deams pulled out all the stops with the Geforce RTX 4090 and presents Uncharted 4 in its 8K showcase with camera mod and “ReShade Raytracing”.

The Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection recently released for PC, and it’s at its prettiest yet. The striving for more naturally called the Youtuber Digital Dreams, known for his showcases, onto the scene again. He played Uncharted 4 with his Geforce RTX 4090, installed a camera mod and also spiced up the adventure game with “ReShade Raytracing”. Last but not least, he increased the resolution to 8K.

Specifically, Digital Dreams relies on a ray tracing preset by Pascal Glitcher, which does not provide real ray tracing, but global illumination intended to give the impression of it. The camera modification is “Otis_Inf’s new camera”. This not only adds additional camera options, but also higher LOD (Level of Detail) settings. It was played at 60 fps.

The Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection

The Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection includes remastered versions of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and the stand-alone expansion Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, which are six and five years old respectively. Players do not need any previous knowledge of the earlier parts, although connoisseurs will of course be happy to see well-known characters again.
