The history of the origin of Vampire the Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 has been turbulent to say the least since the announcement in 2019, as you can see in the user article by Labrador Nelson can read. Paradox CEO explained why this is so Fredrik Wester recently in an interview with a Swedish magazine:

Looking at the history of the project, we’ve been a little more cautious about announcing new things lately because we got a little burned on Bloodlines 2 before. We said we won’t be releasing anything until we have a concrete release date or at least a release month.

According to Wester, the publisher will soon be able to set a release date. He called the release in 2023 “not at all impossible”.
