The mystery game The Past Within is currently on sale on Steam for €4. You play the game in co-op with another person, where you have to work together from two different perspectives.

What game is The Past Within? The game is a mystery game with horror elements, which is designed for 2 players. Together you have to solve puzzles in co-op and uncover Albert Vanderboom’s plan.

The special thing about it: You are in different times. One player works in the “past” while the other person acts in the “future”.

The game thus functions as a point-and-click adventure for two people. The game world is designed in both 2D and 3D. The game consists of two chapters, which you play through in about 2 hours. So it’s more of a casual game with friends.

But after the first round you can play the game again with swapped perspectives. There is also a “replay function” in which the puzzles are equipped with new solutions.
