New hack and slash game on Steam has 83% positive reviews – “Co-op is incredibly fun”

“Bravery and Greed” is a dungeon crawler that was launched on November 15, 2022 on Steam and especially convinces the players in co-op mode.

What kind of game is Bravery and Greed? The game is a dungeon crawler with hack and slash elements. The game was developed within 7 years by only 2 people.

It is a roguelite whose dungeons are procedurally generated. That means: Your environment is built up during the game with the help of algorithms and looks different with every run.

What is the gameplay like in Bravery and Greed? You work your way through dungeons and are constantly looking for more gold with the aim of becoming the richest adventurer ever. In addition, you get hold of helpful loot, such as gloves, amulets, boots and magic wands that make you stronger. While solving all the puzzles, beware of traps!

Within the dungeons you will also find different paths, such as the “Path of Life” or the “Path of Darkness”. Depending on which path you choose, you can gain new abilities.

You have four different characters to choose from, each with their own strengths and combo movesets:

• The Rogue: An agile bow and dagger-wielding fighter who excels at stealth, speed, and mobility.
• The Warrior: A sturdy fighter with a sword and shield, who excels in close combat and deflecting ranged attacks.
• The Sorcerer: A scepter-wielding mage who can incapacitate enemies with summons and energy waves, and teleport.
• The Amzone: A warrior with a sword and chakram who fights particularly effectively at close and medium ranges.

Death is always in play. You only keep part of your riches when you die and have to start all over again.

Is there a multiplayer mode? You can play Bravery and Greed alone or with other players. In team play you increase your chances of survival. You can play with up to 3 friends either online or locally in co-op. You can also compete against other people in PvP mode.
