On top of that, players can also expect various hidden visual and technical implementations in the updated experience. talking to the medium Eurogamernarrative director Philip Webber said that the next update to The Witcher 3 will add “lots of new secrets and little details” for players to discover that will be completely hidden, to the point where they won’t be mentioned in the patch notes either.

“So we hid a lot of new secrets and a lot of new little details that we want people to find. Roach can walk backwards now. Or actually, if Roach is standing, there’s even now a hidden button you can kick. Or I think Roach now raises its head if you’re in the water. We tried to put a lot of these little things for people to find, which we won’t even put in the patch notes.”

The next generation upgrade from The Witcher 3 will be released on December 14.
