Fortnite: Unlock Geralt of Rivia - When and how to do it?

With Chapter 4, Fortnite has again ported many new faces to the BR shooter. Including the sorcerer from The Witcher – Geralt von Rivia. You can find out how and, above all, when you can unlock it here on MeinMMO.

When do I unlock Geralt of Rivia? Geralt of Rivia is the main character of The Witcher and can be unlocked in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 through the Battle Pass. However, if you treat yourself to the Battle Pass right at the start, you will notice that Geralt cannot be earned immediately. That’s because it was included as a bonus skin in the Battle Pass.

However, Epic Games points out that it can be unlocked soon and that in 61 days (as of December 8th, 2022). So the exact start time is Tuesday, February 7th, 2023. You have to be patient until then.

How will I be able to unlock Geralt of Rivia? In the past, players could unlock their additional skins in Battle Passes through quests. However, these will only be announced once the activation timer has expired.

Often these quests were easy to solve and required players to visit special locations, pick up items, or complete kills with selected skins. If the quests become known, we will add them to our post.

Which items can be unlocked with Geralt? First, six new items can be unlocked by Geralt von Rivia. These are as follows:

  • Geralt of Rivia – Loading screen
  • The witcher’s weapons – Back accessory
  • muscle memory – Spray motif
  • Igni sign – Emote
  • Sorcerer Steel Sword – Harvesting tool
  • Geralt of Rivia – Outfit

So far, these are all the visible rewards that players will give you when you buy the Battle Pass. Note that Geralt has five more rewards, but these will be revealed at an even later date. We assume that these could be additional styles of the skin, as well as a weapon finish and emoticons.

If there is any new information regarding the rewards or a delay in unlocking them, we will update our post about it.
