Tactical RPG Divinity: Original Sin 2 is very popular on Steam with 95% positive reviews. You can currently get the game with a discount of 65% for around €16.

What kind of game is Divinity: Original Sin 2? The game takes place in a fantasy setting and continues the story of its predecessor. You control a troop consisting of 4 so-called “source magicians”, which gives you extraordinary magical abilities.

The problem with this: The “divine” is dead and the source mages are now held responsible for attracting evil beings from other dimensions. Therefore, the game starts with the scenario that you have been captured and imprisoned. Now it’s up to you what future awaits you and your teammates.

As a group of magicians, you explore the game world, reveal secrets and solve puzzles. In combat situations, you must be tactical and anticipate your characters’ actions.

What is the gameplay like in Divinity: Original Sin 2? First you create your character or select a preset character. Various classes are available to you, such as magicians, warriors or villains, and you can make the game world unsafe as humans, dwarves, elves, lizards or undead.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 offers you numerous ways to interact with the NPCs: Talk to people or animals to learn more about them – or kill them. You can even communicate with spirits.

The decisions you make in the game affect the further course of the story and can have far-reaching consequences. It can even go so far that you influence the fate of an entire world.

Your strategic skills will be put to the test in battle, as you can only perform a certain number of actions in each round. For example, you can let your character move or attack. Attacks can also be combined into strong elemental combinations.

The strength of your enemies can range from simple animals to massive monsters, and it can happen that you have to face hordes of them at the same time.

You can play the game alone, in co-op, online or with split screen. Up to 4 people can play together, each of you controlling one character from the group.
