Pokémon Crimson / Crimson: New raid lets you catch Gen 8 starters – your only chance so far

In Pokémon Crimson and Crimson you can soon grab Liberlo in the raid.

Pokémon Crimson and Crimson you can soon raid happily again, because two new Tera Raid events have been announced. Botogel starts and then a real hit follows: Liberlo from Pokémon Sword and Shield will appear in a 7-star raid on two weekend dates. Here’s everything you need to know about the new raids.

New Tera Raids for Botogel and Liberlo in Crimson and Crimson – dates and times

• Botogel (found in 1 to 5 star raids) – Start of the raid: Friday, December 23, 2022 at 01:00. End: Monday, December 26, 2022 at 00:59
• Liberlo Appointment 1 (7 Star Raid) – Raid start: Friday, December 30, 2022 at 01:00. End: Monday, January 2, 2023 at 12:59 am
• Liberlo appointment 2 (7 star raid) – Raid start: Friday, January 13, 2023 at 01:00. End: Monday, January 16, 2023 at 00:59

Use the chance for Liberlo

If you’ve played Pokémon Sword and Shield, i.e. the eighth generation, then Liberlo should look familiar to you. This is the second evolution of the fire starter Hopplo (evolves into Kicklero at level 16 and Liberlo at level 36).

It is possible that further starters will appear in the Crimson and Crimson Tera Raids in the future, here is an overview of the starting Pokémon from Sword and Shield:

Liberlo is not usually found in the Paldea region. So the two raid dates give you the only option so far for the fire rabbit, which you can of course breed with the help of Ditto and continue to exchange.

As with Charizard, this is a 7-star raid, which means: It should be tough again. In addition, Liberlo carries the Titan mark and can only be caught once per save. In the raid, the Pokemon will have the Tera-type Fight.
