Used graphics card on Ebay: What experiences have you had?
In an environment of rising prices for new components, the idea of buying used hardware might not be so far-fetched after all. We want to know how much experience the PCGH community has with this.
The year 2022 brought one thing with it, among other things: higher prices for CPUs, graphics cards and more. One or the other PCGH user might ask himself whether it is not a tried and tested means to fall back on the used market. Even if there may be pitfalls lurking there because the coveted hardware ran 24/7 in a mining PC.

But what experiences does the community have with buying used components? Which PC components are even considered for such a purchase: Is it more the classic graphics card that you buy used, even if you don’t want to get a mining card? And where does the fun end: Do you really want a used SSD? Do the PCGH users have any experience with buying on used portals such as Ebay or in the PCGH marketplace or do you only trust friends or acquaintances when making such purchases? Are outlet or warehouse deals an option where returned hardware ends up and is offered a little cheaper? Are there PCGH users who actually only ever buy new? What do PCGH users pay particular attention to in order to distinguish between serious and dubious offers?
