Star of The Last of Us fell in love with a game 25 years ago – then swore off gaming
Nick Offerman plays Bill in The Last of Us series. On The Jimmy Kimmel Show, he opened up about why he doesn’t play video games.

“25 years ago I played my last video game […]. I lost a few weeks to a video game called Banjo-Kazooie. […] Then it’s over and you say, ‘Yes, I won.’ And immediately I thought: ‘What have I done with my life?’ So I decided I’ll never do that again.”

Then Offerman added that it was good that he had sworn off video games. He refers to the quality that games have these days and says he would probably not leave his basement otherwise: “The games have become so good, I think I would sit in a basement and not even audition for shows like that anymore. “
